What kind of church are you?
We are a growing evangelical, charismatic church in the heart of Knaresborough — part of the Evangelical Alliance and Love Beyond. The Seed Church is a church-planting initiative by City Gates Church.
Who's
there?
We are a group diverse in nationality, culture, colour, and church background. We gather to worship and nurture our faith. Families and children are warmly included in our meetings.
Why meet
at 5pm?
Whether you're playing sports in the morning or just want to sleep in a little longer, we offer the perfect alternative with our afternoon service.
What is
your style?
We try to keep our services quite informal, using modern music. And we like to add a sprinkling of humour here and there!

MEET THE TEAM
Eder & Marcielly Azevedo
Eder and Marcielly have been married for 22 years and are blessed with two children. Eder became a pastor in 2009, and since then, they have lived in four different countries, enjoying the opportunity to serve the communities they become part of. In their spare time, they love taking long hikes in nature and watching Netflix shows together. Like many Brazilians, they are passionate about football and proudly support both Arsenal and Flamengo.
Rodrigo & Danielly Oliveira
Rodrigo and Danielly have been joyfully married for 9 years and are proud parents of two wonderful children. They have a deep love for God and a genuine passion for connecting with others and making new friends. In their free time, they enjoy spending quality moments together as a family and are always eager to welcome new people into their lives. Rodrigo became a pastor in 2014, and they have been living as missionaries since leaving Brazil in 2016, including 5 years in Gibraltar.
Thiago & Ester Dantas
Thiago and Ester have been married for 10 years and have a 3 year old daughter. In 2016 they served as missionaries at the lighthouse project in Tokyo -Japan and ever since they never stopped serving. Thiago is a web designer and Ester is a teacher. They are both passionate about music! You will aways find him with a set of strings to play with and her trying a new beat either on a Cajon, Djembe or even the drums. Love caring for people and being with family.
